How do I Get to Camden?

Camden is extremely central and well-connected to the rest of London so it’s best to explore all the fun things to do in Camden using public transport. The nearest tube station to Camden market is Camden Town, which is served by the Northern line. However, you can also get off at Chalk Farm Road and it’s only a ten-minute walk to the market. There are also a number of bus routes that run to and from Camden, such as the 134, 168, 214, 253, 27, 274, and 29. And if you’re coming by train, the closest overground station is Camden Road, which is just only a ten-minute walk from the market as well.

One thing to note is that Camden Town tube station can get extremely busy on weekends, so it’s possible that you may find the station closed to entry when you try to make your return journey. If this happens, don’t worry. You can just take the short walk to Chalk Farm station and hop on the Northern line from there.

If you’re looking for things to do in Camden at night, there are multiple night buses and 24-hour bus services that run through Camden, including the 24, 27, 88, 134, 214, N5, N20, N28, N279, and N29. On Friday and Saturday nights, the Northern line also runs a night tube service, so you can catch the tube back to your hotel or accommodation without any problem.
